THNK MACHINE is a new online publication and speakers' bureau for organisations that demand provocative, unfiltered analysis of today’s rapidly evolving world. Founded by journalists and futurists tired of sanitised corporate thinking, we deliver raw, unapologetic commentary on technology, politics, and culture—combining the intellectual rigour of classic salons with the revolutionary spirit of café revolutionaries.
The Creed of The THNK MACHINE
We believe in the restless mind—the one that won’t sit still, won’t shut up, won’t take the easy answer. Thought isn’t a museum piece. It’s a storm, tearing through the bullshit, carving new landscapes.
We reject the comfortable, the convenient, the pre-packaged truths wrapped in neat, market-tested slogans. Ideas should bruise. Words should leave marks. Thought is an ocean, and we sail past the edge of the known map—where the ink bleeds into nothing, where the horizon isn’t a limit but a dare.
We don’t exist to reassure. We exist to wake you up. To provoke. To push forward even when the ground is crumbling beneath us.

How It All Started
Three of us—two writers and a futurologist—walk into a bar. Not a joke, just how it starts.
We talked about what had been lost —the Parisian salons, the café tables where lost generations plotted revolutions in ink. We talked about how thinking had gotten soft, safe, and caged. Ideas weren’t colliding anymore; they were standing in line, waiting for polite applause. Screw that.
We wanted something with teeth, something that moved. A place where thought wasn’t polished or polite but raw and unapologetically honest.
And so, The THNK MACHINE wasn’t born. It was declared. Not a publication. Not a project. A provocation.

Jason O’Toole - Co-founder, Editor in Chief
Jason O’Toole is a renowned journalist, best-selling author, and filmmaker, widely recognised as “Ireland’s best interviewer.” As an author, O’Toole has penned 11 books, including the authorized biography of an Irish Prime Minister, for Transworld. He recently expanded into filmmaking, directing the three-part documentary Confessions of a Crime Boss, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video UK.

T.S. O’Rourke is a seasoned author, journalist, and marketing maestro with 30 years of experience under his belt. He's addicted to the daily news buzz and when he's not hammering away at his keyboard, he's breathing new life into vintage vehicles, pulling them back from the brink of oblivion.
